The Oldest City: A Column by Susan Richbourg Parker, Ph.D. 2

Since 1996, Dr. Susan Richbourg Parker has written a widely popular Sunday column, titled “The Oldest City,”  which explores the people and events that have shaped the history of St. Augustine and St. Johns County.  

Since its introduction, the column has been a Sunday favorite in the local newspaper, The St. Augustine Record. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Parker’s column will be made exclusively available to St. Augustine Historical Society members! Starting Saturday, January 14th,  the column will run on every 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.

If you are already a member, simply check your email on the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning for the link to the column and enjoy this brand new and exciting membership benefit! If you happen to miss it, don’t worry, we will also be adding each column to the online Society archives which are available on the “SAHS Members Only” site.
